Cresent Moon Through North Window

A well photographed spot in Arches Nationa Park and frequented as a sunrise shooting location (see my image:  Turret Arch Through North Window At Dawn), is the Windows region.  I decided to "break the rules" and venture back to this Windows location to shoot the last colors of sunset through the arch.  My wife and I had the whole area to ourselves to work as I noticed the crescent moon descending in the sky.  I patiently waited for it to move right into place in my viewfinder.   The three elements of evening light, crescent moon and silhouette made for a unique take on a familar subject.
